Tech4 Take Off
Free laptops, connectivity, and digital skills support for young people aged 11–19
Tech4Takeoff will initially focus on communities near easyJet’s UK bases in Luton, Gatwick and Newcastle. The programme is run by the Digital Poverty Alliance (DPA), in partnership with easyJet.
Empowering young people with technology
Young people are expected to use technology throughout the school week, not only during lessons. Homework, revision, research, learning platforms and applications often depend on having access to a device at home. When that access is limited or shared, everyday learning can become harder to manage. Tech4Takeoff directly addresses this by offering:
- iPads: Devices previously used by easyJet crew and flight-deck teams, made available to support young people who need better access to technology outside the classroom.
- Support for Learning: Access to technology that can help young people complete schoolwork, revise, research, use learning platforms and prepare for applications or next steps.
Eligibility
Please note that resources are limited. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an iPad. The first phase of the programme is open to young people aged 11-19 in communities near easyJet’s UK bases in Luton, Gatwick and Newcastle.

Help Us Support More Families
In a society that values justice and compassion, it is unacceptable that children are growing up without proper access to the digital world and the life-changing benefits it brings. We can only continue this vital work with your support. By making a small donation, you can help us reach more families and provide the resources they need to succeed.
