Sim Card Request
The Digital Poverty Alliance is currently able to provide free everyone.connected SIM cards from Vodafone to organisations that support individuals that are not otherwise able to afford data.
These SIM cards can be used in any unlocked mobile or one that has been purchased from Vodafone, or an unlocked or Vodafone dongle device. These SIM cards provide 20GB data per month, unlimited UK calls and texts for six months, after which individuals can stop using the SIM or start using pay-as-you-go rates.
Schools and organisations applying should only apply for as many as they are sure to be able to provide to people in need. Registered charities should apply directly to Vodafone Communities.connected initiative. SIM cards need to be activated before the expiry date shown, which is normally within 6-12 months of receipt. Applying will mean you join the DPA community and sign up to receiving our monthly newsletter.
Requests will be carefully evaluated and applying is not a guarantee of receiving this support – we will respond to confirm if we are able to help. The support must be for households who would otherwise struggle to afford connectivity. Organisations must be non-profit or public sector bodies such as schools, GPs/NHS or local authorities. This form may be withdrawn at any time. We are only able to support activity taking place in the UK. Cards must be given away freely to those in need, and must not be sold, exchanged for goods or services, or used as prizes, and any such breaches will be reported to Vodafone.
